Tutoring Rates & Session Structure
Each tutoring session is a comprehensive learning experience that includes instruction, preparation, and ongoing support.
What’s Included in a Session
Each session includes:
One-on-one instruction
Individualized planning and preparation
Instructional materials and adjustments
Post session summary, data tracking, and progress notes
Getting Started
I prioritize programming for parents and families who homeschool or unschool children between the ages of 4 and 12, as well as educators, caregivers, and professionals who support children in this age range.
Tutoring Registration & Pricing
My tutoring practice is intentionally small, relationship-based, and individualized. I work with a limited number of students at a time so that each child receives thoughtful, consistent, and developmentally appropriate support.
Because of this, I use a gift-economy registration model rather than traditional hourly pricing. This allows families to contribute at different levels while making it possible for me to continue offering scholarships, flexible support, and long-term relationships with students.
True Cost of Services
The true cost of my time, preparation, and professional expertise is:
$95 per session
Most students attend once per week, which equals
$380 per month (4 sessions)
Tutoring is billed monthly in four-week increments to keep scheduling consistent and to allow me to reserve a standing time for each student.
Monthly Registration Options
Families may choose the registration level that best fits their circumstances.
Standard Registration — $380 per month
Covers the full cost of 4 sessions.
Registration + Support Another Child — $760 per month
Supports your child’s sessions and helps fund scholarship support for another student.
Pay Another Amount
Families may choose a different amount that feels fair and sustainable.
Full Scholarship: $0
I trust families to choose the option that reflects their ability to pay, their desire to support this work, and what feels equitable for their situation.
Additional Notes
Sessions are typically once per week unless otherwise arranged.
Twice-weekly or travel sessions may use a different rate.
Monthly registration reserves your child’s place in my schedule.
Because my caseload is limited, consistent attendance is expected
